To all participants of the 19th senior chess tournament of Rhineland-Palatinate 2022
Dear chess friends!
In less than 4 weeks the 19th Rhineland-Palatinate Seniors Open 2022 will start in Altenkirchen/Westerwald. We currently have 90 registrations and we are pleased that you all want to be there.
There are still a few spots left for last-minute attendees. Here is some information about our supporting program:
City Tour Altenkirchen
On Thursday, July 21, participants can take part in a one-and-a-half-hour historical city tour free of charge. If you have a good head for heights, you can also climb the church tower (about 100 steps).
The tour starts at 4.30pm at the Hotel Glockenspitze.
On Sunday, July 24th at 6pm, the chefs of the Hotel Glockenspitze will prepare a barbecue on the newly designed sun terrace. The fee is €22 per person, registration is required and a minimum
number of participants is needed.
An important note for all of you who have not yet transferred the entry fee: According to our regulations, the amount increases by 10 € if payment is made after July 1st. If your plans have changed and you are unable to attend, please let us know.
We are looking forward to the tournament and we wish you a safe journey.
